It was 1989. I was a senior in high school heading to Germany for a short exchange trip. My parents let me borrow their ST605N 35mm Fujica. I was met with ornate cathedrals, horizons layered with mountains. . . I wanted to record it all. Thirty years later, my understanding of photography hasn't changed: something beautiful presents itself and I push a button.

I believe a successful photograph is one in which the client's reaction is not "What a great photo!" but rather: "She's so beautiful!"; "They look so happy!" I want to capture an event accurately and in its entirety. This is in line with my journalistic shooting style which is the result of natural inclination and my former job as a newspaper reporter/photographer.

Give me a call, text or email. And thanks for taking time to visit this site!
